Where We Started & Where We Are Going
Polished began with a single handbag, a pre‑loved piece sourced from Japan. It was beautiful, but a large mark on the interior nearly stopped the purchase altogether. That was until the curator casually suggested sending it to a “bag spa”.
Determined to bring world‑class expertise home, we completed an intensive professional training programme led by the world’s foremost experts in luxury handbag repair and restoration. It was here that we learned the art and science of caring for leather, colour, structure and detail at the highest standard.
With a rapidly growing community of clients who value longevity, sustainability and luxury care, Polished has expanded beyond South Africa and proudly enters its first international chapter in Australia.
